Concrete5 Chat Installation Instructions

Concrete5 Chat Add-on by Chatwee is a great way to stimulate growth of your online community.
In order to install the widget in a few easy steps, start by downloading the zip folder containing the files.

Before you proceed with the chat installation, we suggest you sign up for an account with us first. It’s absolutely free, and you’ll need access to certain details inside in order to complete the installation.

Open your FTP client and upload the unzipped folder you downloaded earlier to concrete5/packages.
Log in to your concrete5 admin panel and go to Dashboard.
Scroll down the menu on the right and click Extend concrete5.
Click the Install button to activate the chat add-on.
Now, head over to the configuration page to finish the installation process.
Paste the chat installation code from your Dashboard into the box. Scroll down to adjust other options. Click Save settings once you’re done.

There you have it - a live chat widget to enhance your concrete5 site with a real time interaction feature. Keep it social and let your visitors hold private, group, and public chats, including rich media and emoji.
